Melbourne City are one win away from becoming the first team to complete consecutive A-League Men premiership-championship doubles after Jamie Maclaren delivered a 2-1 extra-time semi-final victory over Adelaide United.

Maclaren’s 92nd-minute goal sealed a dramatic second-leg comeback and tees up the first all-Victorian ALM decider against Western United at AAMI Park on Saturday in what will be City’s third consecutive grand final appearance. It will be the first all-Melbourne national league grand final since 1998.
