Assistant manager Danny Webb previewed the visit of Horsham in the FA Cup first round, saying: “It’s a banana skin that we don’t want to slip up on, with the utmost respect (to Horsham). “They’re scoring two goals a game in their respective league, a league I know very well from being down that way. A lot of the Essex and London teams are in that league and they’re strong. “Horsham are obviously not too far from Brighton. I think over the years they’ve had a few ex-Brighton academy lads and they always get players in. The manager has been there for quite a while now and has done ever so well. “When I played there years ago it was a horrible ground with a sloping pitch, but now they’ve got a lovely 4G surface. If I’m honest, I’m glad we’re not going down there.
