Nick Montgomery has released a latest injury update ahead of our cinch Premiership match against Ross County.

Will Fish came off injured in our game against St Johnstone last week, whilst Elie Youan wasn’t involved in the matchday squad. Our Head Coach gave an update on both of them.

“Will had quite an innocuous back injury. We will assess him tomorrow but won’t take any risk if he’s not 100%. We will trust in the physios.

“Elie Youan is a doubt again for tomorrow. He rolled his ankle in training, it’s not bad, but we expect him to be back in full training next week.”

Our Head Coach will also be without Jake Doyle-Hayes – who has returned to elements of team training – and Lewis Miller. Montgomery provided an update on the right-back.

“Lewis is progressing well but won’t be available for tomorrow. At this point of the season, it’s important that we don’t take risks on players that aren’t 100%.”

On a positive note, Luke Amos has had another week on full team training and could make a return on Saturday.

“Luke’s in contention for the squad. He’s been working really hard, and I know he will be a big player for the Club moving forward.

“We don’t want to risk him, though, if we don’t feel like he’s 100%.”
