We will face Rangers this weekend at Broadwood Stadium in our first ScottishPower Women's Premier League match of 2026.
The televised encounter will take place in Cumbernauld on Sunday 18 January; 4:10pm kick-off.
THE LOWDOWN
The Hibees are seeking to pick up a key victory this Sunday following a tricky run of results in the league, which leaves the team fifth in the SPWPL table.
Sunday's opposition, Rangers, are the only top six team Hibs Women have not faced in recent league fixtures - with Celtic, Hearts, Glasgow City and Montrose all earning points in match-ups before the winter break.
Our Scottish Gas Scottish Cup journey ended in the fourth round last weekend, as we lost out to Celtic in a tightly-contested 3-2 loss at Meadowbank Stadium.
The visitors took a two-goal lead into half-time, before Tiree Burchill's low finish and Eilidh Adams' glancing header pulled Hibs back level by the 50-minute mark. Maria McAneny would find a third for Celtic on 52 minutes, and the Glasgow club would hold on to secure progression to the next round.
THE HOSTS
Leanne Crichton's side are currently second in the SPWPL standings and are currently unbeaten in four league matches - with three consecutive 3-0 wins over Motherwell, Partick Thistle and Aberdeen, respectively, following a 3-2 victory over Celtic.
Rangers' last outing saw them brush aside second-tier Kilmarnock in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup; securing a comfortable 6-0 win to secure passage into the final eight of the competition.
A sublime comeback was completed the last time we clashed against Rangers back in October at Meadowbank Stadium. Katie Wilkinson's early brace had the visitors in control, but goals from Rosie Livingstone, Kathleen McGovern and Eilidh Adams turned the game around to seal three points for the Hibees.
While our last away fixture against the Gers saw us secure, and lift, the SPWPL trophy at Ibrox Stadium following a 1-0 victory on the final day, our most recent trip to Broadwood Stadium - where Sunday's match takes place - occured earlier in the 2024/25 season.
McGovern would open the scoring on a cold December evening before thumping in our Goal of the Season to double our advantage. Late on, Livingstone would thrash in a third to secure a memorable victory for the away Hibees support in Cumbernauld.
