Hibernian Football Club would like to pass on our thanks to our valued partners and sponsors for their support during this year’s Hibernian Community Foundation Winter Appeal.
Several Club Partners contributed both their time and efforts towards the preparation for the Christmas Day meal campaign, alongside the donation of various prizes towards the Community Foundation’s Silent Auction.
These generous donations from our partners helped raise £37,000 throughout the course of the Silent Auction appeal.
Hibernian FC Commercial Director, Murray Milligen, said: “We are thrilled to document the support from our partners towards the Hibernian Community Foundation’s Winter Appeal.
“The support from our partners and sponsors have not only raised vital funds for our Community Foundation, but has also provided significant support to ensure the continued success of this year’s Christmas Day meal campaign.
“On behalf of all associated with Hibernian Football Club, I’d like to share our thanks to all of our partners and sponsors who supported this year’s Winter Appeal campaign."
Katie Stewart, Head of Community and Depute CEO for Hibernian Community Foundation, added:
“Feeding 500 people from Easter Road is a mammoth task, and every bit of help we received eased the pressure of the task.
“This year we received gifts and refreshments for those receiving a meal on Christmas Day; as well as a truly significant number of hours volunteered to wrap presents, prepare lunch settings and help serve the lunch.
“It really means so much to us to receive this support."
Nathan Marino, the Marketing and Communications Manager at the Foundation, stated:
"The Silent Auction is one of our largest annual fundraisers, and in 2025 we hit a record total of £37,828. We rely on items donated from all corners of the Hibernian Community to reach this total, and this year we received fantastic prizes from club partners and sponsors that contributed over £1,700 to the final total.
“The money raised through the auction will be used throughout 2026 to help us carry out our community meals and activities for those who need it most.”
